Who invented Bitcoin?

Bitcoin was invented by an individual or group of individuals using the pseudonym Satoshi Nakamoto. Nakamoto published a whitepaper titled “Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System” in 2008, outlining the concept of Bitcoin and the underlying technology known as blockchain. The Bitcoin network came into existence when Nakamoto mined the first block of the Bitcoin blockchain, known as the genesis block, on January 3, 2009. Since then, Nakamoto’s identity has remained unknown, and it’s unclear whether Satoshi Nakamoto is a single person or a group of people.
